The Danube Bend – An excursion into Hungary’s history along the Blue Danube
Program Date: 10th September
Price until 25th August: 60 EUR / person
During this breathtaking tour, the group is introduced to 3 historical places in one day. We make a short visit by bus to Slovakia and then drive back to Esztergom, (Center of the Catholic Church) where you can enter the Cathedral for an interior visit.
Afterwards the group can have a photo session at the Danube Valley at Visegrád which was the former Royal Residence.
After the delightful 3-course lunch, the trip heads southwards, we carry on to Szentendre where you can enjoy a guided stroll through the Artist’s village.
At the end of the tour the group can either return to Budapest on the Danube by using the public scheduled boast, and the tour ends at the Pier/City Centre – or returning by our bus straight to your hotel.
Sights during this trip: The Danube Bend, Visegrád, Royal Residence, 3-course lunch, Esztergom, Interior visit of the Cathedral, Slovakia (Photo Stop), Artists’ Village Szentendre (guided walk), Return by public boat (Boat trip May 1 – September 30).
